You can apply for a stall for 2021 using these 2020 application forms. We hope to keep the pitch fees the same, however this cannot be guaranteed.
We will not process any applications until March 2021, and should there be any revision in price we will advise you before processing.
Payment will not be required until application has been processed and approved.

This year you can apply for a stall by completing an online form. Links to the forms are available lower down this page.
After you click 'submit' you will receive an email copy of your submission.

Once the application has been processed and approved we will contact you by email with a request for payment (See note above) and provide our bank details for internet payment. For those wishing to pay by cheque there will be also be details of where to send the payment.

For anyone applying who has not attended before, Newent Onion Fayre takes up the whole of the centre of the town. The town is closed to vehicular traffic and stalls are located throughout the main streets, the car parks and in the park. Stalls in the streets are all on tarmac surfaces, those located in the park and other areas will in some cases be located on grass. All Food Village stalls are located together in one tarmac car park

Pitches at the Newent Onion Fayre are available in the following categories:

Non Food Standard Street Pitch

This is a vacant pitch. No tables or canopies are provided.
Available in 4 lengths, 3m - 4m - 5m - 6m. The maximum depth of the pitch is 3m (including any gazebos or overhangs etc. that you may use).

Food Pitch or Stall

This is available to produce sellers, artisan food sellers, hot and cold food, culinary/kitchen products- anything you would normally associate with a food festival! A traditional market stall can be provided with table, canopy, back and sides, included in the price. Power is available if requested at time of application (see notes on application form).
Available either as a single 3.07m (10ft) or double 6.15m (20ft)

Compact Pitch

A limited number of smaller vacant pitches, 2m x 1.25. These pitches would suit those promoting a service or showing small or limited ranges of products, or for ‘testing the water’ for future years! (Note: the size of this pitch would prohibit the use of a normal gazebo!)

Fairground Pitch

For larger machines, rides and roundabouts, we will mark the pitch according to the dimensions provided in the application. Please ensure that the all parts of the ride fit within the measurements given, including kiosks and hitches!
For sideshows and small roundabouts, pitches are per metre frontage.
